Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) faced a common digital dilemma: a sprawling, inefficient web presence. With 11 separate websites, they struggled with content management, user experience, and technical overhead. To solve this, RWWA partnered with The Brand Agency to implement a cutting-edge Sitefinity CMS solution, consolidating their digital footprint and unlocking new levels of efficiency and user engagement.

CHALLENGE
Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA), the governing body for racing in the state, grappled with a fragmented digital presence: 11 separate WordPress websites. This disjointed approach hampered content management, delivered inconsistent user experiences, and inflated technical costs. RWWA needed a unified platform to consolidate content, streamline operations, and improve access to vital race data and industry resources.

SOLUTION
The Brand Agency implemented a cutting-edge multisite solution leveraging Sitefinity CMS with the innovative Sitefinity Next.js SDK Renderer, a technology they co-developed with the Sitefinity Engineering team. This decoupled architecture, hosted on Sitefinity Cloud and Vercel, delivered a modern, high-performance website.

A story of digital transformation.

Along with successfully consolidating 11 websites into a single, unified platform, the solution also encompassed the development of a comprehensive design system and a flexible component widget library. The intuitive Sitefinity CMS empowers non-technical users to easily manage and update content.

The solution facilitated seamless integration with the Racing WA App, enabling deep linking, seamless data integration and search functionality. Key integrations also included Microsoft Entra ID for secure Single Sign-On (SSO) for enhanced user engagement.

The world’s first implementation of the Sitefinity Next.js SDK Renderer.

This project marked the world’s first implementation of the Sitefinity Next.js SDK Renderer, demonstrating the transformative power of this technology.

While the new platform has been largely successful, ongoing efforts will focus on optimizing content delivery and further enhancing user engagement to maximize the benefits of this unified digital presence.
