UWA: Options Create Opportunities
Undergraduate Recruitment Campaign 2015

The University of Western Australia launched a student recruitment campaign using the acclaimed talents of Israeli illustrator Noma Bar to promote the flexibility of UWA degrees.

The result is a striking campaign called ‘Options create opportunities’ that perfectly uses Bar’s philosophy of “maximum communication with minimum elements”. It’s a campaign that, like art, allows the viewer to gain reward from observation and interpretation.

According to the client, “We thought Noma’s style was perfect for illustrating all the different components that can be fit within the broad undergrad degrees from UWA. We wanted to show that the journey to your perfect career can fit a lot more than you might expect – leading to more options and opportunities when you graduate.”

The campaign focused on executions depicting the combination of study areas such as medicine and music, law and design, and engineering and business.

The overarching promise, “A degree with options creates opportunities” is delivered across multiple platforms including print, out of home, TV, digital radio and online.
