The Brand Agency hosts Jump Start, TDK and Adschool sessions

The Brand Agency was buzzing with activity this week as it held a series of talks and events as part of the Agency's expanding student program. Around 80 students and graduates took part in three separate events, from all corners of the creative industries.

The Communications Council's 'Jump Start' program held its eighth experience session at the Agency. Now in its fifth year, Jump Start has firmly established itself within the WA industry as a launch pad for graduates. Participants enjoyed an Agency tour, were involved in a range of talks and panel discussions, while also receiving their Jump Start brief for the final day workshop.

The Agency's design team presented The Design Kids 'TDK Tuesdays' to around 40 design students and graduates.

"When we first hosted TDK Tuesdays last year, we were blown away by the response. We had to cut off attendance after 48 hours because we couldn't fit everyone in the room. It was one of the highlights of our calendar," said The Brand Agency's Head of Design, Dan Agostino.

"Having now moved into our new office in the CBD, we can accommodate so many more in a purpose-built environment that fosters creativity, learning and collaboration. A real standout for me was seeing members of the Jump Start program interacting with members of Perth's student design community. They all got involved and some even continued their night by joining in with TDK."

The Agency is also currently hosting AdSchool's 'Strategic Planning Principles' with lead strategist, Hannah Muirhead.

"We all have a part to play in creating a solid bedrock for the future of our industry. We love the energy, enthusiasm and creativity that young people bring to the table, and Tuesday night really highlighted this for me," said Muirhead.
